Clinton waltzed into their match on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Gibbs Eagles by a score of 61-51. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 53-46 back in December of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Gibbs lost, don't look at Zack Turner. Despite the final result, he went 10 of 22 en route to 28 points and five assists. Turner's evening made it eight games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Dalton Tipton was another key player, putting up eight points.

Clinton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.1 points per game. As for Gibbs, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-14.

Clinton will head out to face off against Anderson County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Anderson County will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Clinton surely won't give up without a fight. Gibbs has already played their next contest (against Union County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
