Baseball Recap: Joppatowne Comes Up Short

Joppatowne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 22-1 to the Bel Air Bobcats.

Joppatowne saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Savage, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Savage also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

Joppatowne's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Bel Air, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

While Joppatowne had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
