Volleyball Recap: Crestwood Comes Up Short

Crestwood suffered their biggest defeat since May 8, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Holy Redeemer Royals. The game marked the first time this season in which the Comets were not able to get on the board.

Crestwood was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-20, 25-21.

Despite the loss, Crestwood still got an impressive performance from Zach Koons, who had 20 assists and six digs. Koons is crushing it when it comes to assists: he's posted at least 12 every time he's taken the court this season.

Crestwood moved to 14-4 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Holy Redeemer, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-5 record this season.

Crestwood has already played their next matchup (against North Pocono), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Holy Redeemer, they have also already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Abington Heights on the 7th.
