Baseball Recap: Ray's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

Ray dropped their record down to 10-13-1 on Friday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins. They came up short against the San Manuel Miners, falling 7-1. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Miners this season, with their most recent loss being a 14-3 defeat back in March.

Ray saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Asher Warren, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

As for San Manuel, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-8. Considering they have won ten matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

On San Manuel's side, Eddie Guerrero made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out eight batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Those eight strikeouts gave Guerrero a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Ray has already played their next game (against Duncan), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. San Manuel does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
