Heritage lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Max Skidmore, who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Barron Ofosu-kwarteng, who scored 12 points along with two steals.
St. Anne-Pacelli's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Azarel Juste, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Juste has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayddence Ford, who scored 16 points.
Heritage's defeat ended an 18-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 24-4. As for St. Anne-Pacelli, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-6.
Heritage will square off against Deerfield-Windsor at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Heritage focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Friday. St. Anne-Pacelli will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Brookstone at 7:30 p.m. on February 24th. Hopefully St. Anne-Pacelli is not getting complacent considering they own a much higher rank in Georgia (they are ranked 24th, while Brookstone is ranked 274th).
