Basketball Recap: Dickson County Triumphs

If Kenwood wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Dickson County, they should've done a better job of containing Keely Webb. The Dickson County Cougars were the clear victor by a 68-43 margin over the Kenwood Knights on Friday thanks in part to Webb, who went 13 of 26 on her way to 31 points along with six assists and six steals. That's the most assists she has posted since back in February of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Kenwood lost, don't look at Yazmine Pearson. Despite the final result, she posted 25 points. Zakiya White was another key player, putting up eight points.

Dickson County's record is now 7-10. As for Kenwood, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-13.

Dickson County has already played their next game, a 62-25 victory against Waverly Central on the 25th. As for Kenwood, they will face off against Henry County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
