Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Hoover, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Hamilton a 4-0 shutout on Friday.

Hoover's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-13. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Sparkman, their defeat dropped their record down to 31-12-1.

Sparkman came out on top in a nail-biter against Hoover when the teams last played back in February, sneaking past 6-4. Will the Senators repeat their success, or do the Buccaneers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
