Exeter barely beat Hurley the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Exeter's pitchers stepped up to hand Hurley an 11-0 shutout on Thursday. The win continues a trend for Exeter in their matchups with Hurley: they've now won eight in a row.

Cason Antle was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Exeter's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 5-2 (and 5-16 when he doesn't).
In other batting news, Coy Aldridge was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2025. Another player making a difference was Jax Brock, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
