Soccer Game Preview: Suwannee vs. Rutherford

The Suwannee Bulldogs will challenge the Rutherford Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Friday, Suwannee came up short against Taylor County and fell 4-2.

Ethan Valencia and Scott Uribe scored both of Suwannee's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rutherford). They were the clear victor by a 7-1 margin over Bozeman on Tuesday. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 5-1.

Suwannee has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 13 of their last 14 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-16-1 record this season. As for Rutherford, the victory got them back to even at 6-6-1.
