Baseball Recap: Union County Takes a Loss

The Union County Fightin' Tigers lost 13-2 to the Cardinal Newman Crusaders on Monday. The Fightin' Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Union County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was DEVIN DIGGS, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Union County's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Cardinal Newman, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-1-1.

Union County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Cypress Bay on the 25th. As for Cardinal Newman, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-2 loss against Chaminade-Madonna on the 25th.
