Basketball Recap: String Theory Comes Up Short

String Theory played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 64-35 defeat at the hands of the Northeast Vikings. String Theory has struggled against Northeast recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Northeast's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jonathan Miller led the charge by dropping a double-double on 11 points and 18 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Miller a new career-high in boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Makai Autry, who went 6 of 10 on his way to 14 points and eight rebounds.

String Theory's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Northeast, they moved to 4-5 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

String Theory will host Benjamin Franklin at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. String Theory is facing Benjamin Franklin at the right time seeing as Benjamin Franklin is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Northeast, they will head out to take on Academy at Palumbo at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Northeast has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
