Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wayland-Cohocton). They blew past the School of the Arts Silverhawks 19-1 on Wednesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Eagles considering their one-run performance the contest before.

Wayland-Cohocton's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for School of the Arts, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Wayland-Cohocton is taking a road trip to square off against Dansville at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for School of the Arts, they will welcome East at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.
