It was a good run, but Valle Catholic unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Thursday. They fell 2-0 to the Potosi Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in September.

Valle Catholic was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-19.

Despite the defeat, Valle Catholic had strong showings from Adyson Rayoum, who had nine digs, and Allie Boyet, who had five digs and one assist.

Valle Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 25-6-1. As for Potosi, their victory was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 26-4-2.

As of now, neither Valle Catholic nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
