Midlothian extended their postseason success on Friday against Walnut Grove. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over the Wildcats. Midlothian's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last eight matches.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Macie Griffin, who's now up to 18 this season.

Midlothian's victory bumped their record up to 22-1-1. As for Walnut Grove, with the defeat, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 20-2-1.

Coming up, Midlothian will take on Red Oak on Monday. Red Oak will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Midlothian surely won't give up without a fight. Walnut Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
