Softball Preview: Enterprise Yellowjackets vs. Salem Wildcats        
        
		
            
 Enterprise is 7-1 against Salem since March of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Monday. The Enterprise Yellowjackets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Salem Wildcats at 6:15  p.m.
 On Thursday, Enterprise suffered a  tough 16-4 loss at the hands of Stringer. Enterprise has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
  Natalie Williams made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 3-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Salem put the finishing touches on their 13th blowout victory of the season  on Thursday. They put the hurt on Tylertown with a sharp  14-1 win. The  victory was nothing new for Salem as they're now sitting on eight straight.
  Marissa Pollard made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out eight batters over  four innings while giving up just one earned run off   one  hit. Pollard has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than eight  strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances. Pollard was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 1-for-2 with five  RBI, a  run,  and a  double.
 In other batting news,  Preslea Bobb was a standout: she went 2-for-2 with three  runs and a  triple. Another player making a difference was  Kenleigh Eggan, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 1-for-2.
 Enterprise's defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 11-7. As for Salem, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won nine of their last ten games,  which provided a nice bump to their 16-6-1 record  this season.
 Monday's   matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Enterprise has hit smart this season,  having  averaged  an OBP of .458. However, it's not like Salem struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .493. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
