Dominican lost a heartbreaker the last time they played St. Joseph, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Monday's contest. The Knights blew past the Lancers 13-2 on Monday. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by ten runs or more this season.

Lulu Sims made a big impact no matter where she played. She pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Those three runs gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Cate Wahlen, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Ceci Parlier, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Dominican's victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for St. Joseph, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Dominican will head out to face off against Martin Luther at 4:30 p.m. on the 21st. St. Joseph does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
