Softball Recap: Charleston Trojans vs. Danville Vikings

While Charleston's victory against Danville wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Trojans had just enough and edged out the Vikings 9-8 on Tuesday. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Charleston let Avery Beals and Rylee Lewis run wild. Beals scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-5, while Lewis went 2-for-5 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Those two RBI gave Lewis a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Karley Eastman, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
