Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Potomac Senior). They were the clear victors by a 19-2 margin over the Unity Reed Lions on Wednesday. The Panthers have beaten the Lions the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Lions has come to flipping the script.

The team relied heavily on Mike Izquierdo, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. Kelvin Urias was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Potomac Senior always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .628. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Potomac Senior's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Unity Reed, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.
