Rancho Verde beats Heritage for their fifth straight win

Recap: Rancho Verde Mustangs vs. Heritage Patriots
The Rancho Verde Mustangs had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 35.8 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They claimed a resounding 37-7 victory over Heritage at home. The result was nothing new for Rancho Verde, who have now won seven matches by 27 points or more so far this season.
Dylan Riley continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 161 yards and two touchdowns. Riley's longest rush was for an incredible 86 yards.
Rancho Verde's win was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 8-1. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 34 points. As for Heritage, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rancho Verde will square off against Orange Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Orange Vista's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last five games. As for Heritage, they will head out on the road to face off against JW North at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
