Soccer Game Preview: Holy Family vs. Palmer Ridge

The Holy Family Tigers will head out on the road to challenge the Palmer Ridge Bears at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Things were looking good for Holy Family after they put the first goal on the board on Thursday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Skyline by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, Palmer Ridge entered their matchup against Lutheran on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Bears took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions.

Palmer Ridge's goal came courtesy of Ava Odil, who's now up to four this season.

Holy Family has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Palmer Ridge, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1-1 and their overall record down to 7-2-2.
