Baseball Recap: Apex Friendship Comes Up Short at Home Against Leesville Road

Apex Friendship unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Leesville Road Pride by a score of 5-4 on Monday. The Patriots haven't had much luck with the Pride recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Apex Friendship saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braden Bloom, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.

Apex Friendship didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-4 defeat against Corinth Holders on the 26th. As for Leesville Road, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 10-1 victory against Wakefield on the 26th.
