Chippewa proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by three) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Manchester Panthers 2-1. The Chipps haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Chippewa's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Manchester, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Chippewa will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Norton at 11:00 a.m. As for Manchester, they will take on Central Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
