Basketball Recap: Silver Stage Takes a Loss

Silver Stage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They took a blow against the Yerington Lions, falling 61-18. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Nighthawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-13 back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Silver Stage still got an impressive performance from Dakota Little, who went 5 for 8 to rack up 12 points. What's more, Little also posted a 63% field goal percentage, which is the highest she's posted since back in December of 2024. Raven Smith was another key player, putting up two points and four steals.

Silver Stage's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Yerington, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

Silver Stage has already played their next game (against Coral Academy of Science - Reno), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Yerington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
