Research Triangle had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Voyager Academy Vikings. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-2 back in August.

Research Triangle's win bumped their record up to 9-2-3. As for Voyager Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Research Triangle will challenge rival Franklin Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Voyager Academy is set to square off against their familiar foe Neuse Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
