Pigeon Forge hadn't done well against Seymour recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Tigers came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 3-1. The win was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on four straight.

Pigeon Forge's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Seymour, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-7.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Pigeon Forge will square off against rival Fulton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Seymour is set to face off against their familiar foe Gatlinburg-Pittman at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
