Softball Recap: New Brockton Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for New Brockton's offense. They lost 8-0 to the Straughn Tigers on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Gamecocks in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost seven in a row.

New Brockton's loss dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Straughn, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-13.

Coming up, Straughn will head out to face off against McKenzie at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. New Brockton will be paying especially close attention to the Tigers' matchup: after the Tigers faces off against Pike County, they'll take on New Brockton again at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
