Notre Dame-Green Pond entered their tilt with Palmerton on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 67-55 victory over the Palmerton Blue Bombers. Given the Crusaders' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 70th, while the Blue Bombers are ranked 513th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Notre Dame-Green Pond's win bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Palmerton, their defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-8.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Wilson Area the next time they take the court. Palmerton will head out to face Wilson Area at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday, while Notre Dame-Green Pond will host them at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday.
