Softball Recap: Thornton Trojans vs. Conifer Lobos
After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four games, Thornton finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Conifer Lobos.
Raea Fisher was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with a home run and two RBI.
Thornton's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-11. As for Conifer, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-3.
