North Lincoln entered their tilt with Hickory on Monday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 10-6 win over the Red Tornadoes. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Knights also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

North Lincoln's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-8. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Hickory, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: North Lincoln beat the Red Tornadoes by a score of 1-0 on Thursday.
