Baseball Recap: Episcopal of Acadiana Comes Up Short

Episcopal of Acadiana was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 16-4 to the Lacassine Cardinals. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the 10-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Episcopal of Acadiana's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Lacassine, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Episcopal of Acadiana will head out to square off against Alexandria Country Day at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lacassine, they will challenge Pineville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
