The New Life Christian Academy Lions will take on the Victory Baptist Academy Saints at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.
Victory Baptist Academy will be up against a hot New Life Christian Academy team: the squad just extended their winning streak to five. New Life Christian Academy came out on top against Elk Valley Christian by a score of 63-53 on Saturday. 63 seems to be a good number for the Lions as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

New Life Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jake Hamilton, who dropped a triple-double on 20 points, 11 boards, and 12 assists. Hamilton is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last 28 games he's played dating back to last season. Cameron McEarchern was another key player, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 12 rebounds.
New Life Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in nine consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Victory Baptist Academy). They blew past Boys' Home 82-33 last Friday. The Saints have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 21 points or more this season.
New Life Christian Academy better keep an eye on Landon Cormican. He was instrumental in Victory Baptist Academy's win, going 9 of 13 on his way to 20 points and six steals. Another player making a difference was Owen Giles, who went 6 for 7 en route to 12 points.
Victory Baptist Academy has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for New Life Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 9-7 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as the two teams are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. New Life Christian Academy hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 59.4 points per game. However, it's not like Victory Baptist Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 59.5 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
New Life Christian Academy took a serious blow against Victory Baptist Academy when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 73-43. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point New Life Christian Academy was down 43-23.
