Softball Recap: Tinora Takes a Loss

Tinora was the 9-6 winner over Coldwater when they last played one another on Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Rams came up short against the Cavaliers on Saturday, falling 19-2.

Tinora saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Paige Gamby, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run.

Tinora has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. As for Coldwater, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tinora will square off against Hicksville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Coldwater, they will host Celina at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Cavaliers surely won't give up without a fight.
