Perry is 0-3 against Bath since April of 2015 but things could change on Thursday. The Commodores will look to defend their home field against the Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. Perry is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.

Perry is headed into Thursday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Wednesday. They came up short against Jefferson, falling 13-6.

Wyatt Taviano made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs. Another player making a difference was Sucarious Doughty, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Bath got themselves on the board against Lima Senior on Tuesday, but Lima Senior never followed suit. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Spartans. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Bath, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.
