The San Marcos HomeSchool Panthers came tearing into Friday's match with 12 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on Tyler HEAT with a sharp 56-30 win. San Marcos HomeSchool has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 26 points or more this season.

San Marcos HomeSchool had a senior duo take command as Kayla McGarity dropped a double-double on 22 points and 17 rebounds and Kendall Beck dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. McGarity has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 12 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Hurta, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.

San Marcos HomeSchool has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 25-4 record this season. As for Tyler HEAT, their defeat dropped their record down to 31-7.

San Marcos HomeSchool didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 69-66 victory vs. Christian Homeschool Sports Ministries on the 10th. Tyler HEAT has also already played their next matchup, a 44-36 win against Aggieland HomeSchool on the 10th.
