Football Game Preview: North Miami Pioneers vs. Everglades Gators + How To Watch

The North Miami Pioneers will venture away from home to face off against the Everglades Gators at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

North Miami is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight games on Friday. They were beaten by Miramar 46-6. The contest marked the Pioneers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Everglades fell victim to West Broward and their airtight defense last Friday. They took a blow against the Bobcats, falling 55-0. While losing is never fun, the Gators can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 296th, while the Bobcats are ranked 38th).

Everglades' defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for North Miami, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

North Miami was able to grind out a solid victory over Everglades in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 29-20. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pioneers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
