Mira Costa is a perfect 3-0 against El Segundo since September of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Mustangs will head out to challenge the Eagles at 3:30 p.m. El Segundo took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Mira Costa, who comes in off a win.

Mira Costa took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Palos Verdes as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Mustangs not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 30th (when they won 3-0).

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-21, 25-15.

Meanwhile, El Segundo came up short against Redondo Union on Tuesday and fell 3-1. The Eagles have struggled against the Sea Hawks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Mira Costa pushed their record up to 22-8 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. As for El Segundo, their loss dropped their record down to 12-4.

Everything went Mira Costa's way against El Segundo in their previous meeting two weeks ago, as Mira Costa made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
