Basketball Recap: Wendover Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Wendover can now relate to. They fell 50-42 to the Whitehorse Raiders on Wednesday.

Whitehorse got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Keiarra Martin out in front who posted 15 points. Another player making a difference was Hannah Clark, who put up 13 points.

Wendover's defeat dropped their record down to 6-19. As for Whitehorse, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Wendover wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 55-42 win against Bryce Valley on the 27th. As for Whitehorse, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 47-36 loss against Wayne on the 27th.
