Clover kept a clean sheet against Catawba Ridge on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Copperheads. This was a revenge game for Clover: when they faced off against Catawba Ridge back in April, they had to take a 3-0 defeat.

Carter Sayle and Samuel Sykes scored both of Clover's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 19 goals.

Clover is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Catawba Ridge, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-4.

Clover has already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against James F. Byrnes on the 7th. As for Catawba Ridge, they will be playing at home against Easley at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
