The Ursuline Koalas will face off against the Rye Garnets at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ursuline is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7 runs per game this season.

On Monday, Ursuline was able to grind out a solid victory over White Plains, taking the game 6-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Koalas.

Casey Harsany spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on six hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Ava Papaleo, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Aven Spiciarich, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Rye was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 12-0 to Harrison.

Rye's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Ursuline, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Everything went Ursuline's way against Rye in their previous meeting back in May of 2025, as Ursuline made off with an 8-0 victory. Will the Koalas repeat their success, or do the Garnets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
