Volleyball Recap: Sanger Takes a Loss

Sanger managed to slip by Van Alstyne the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Indians came up short against the Panthers on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-21, 25-17.

Molly Schmucker paced Sanger's offense, picking up 11 kills. Schmucker got some help from Sarah Dee and her 13 assists.

Sanger's loss dropped their record down to 21-16. As for Van Alstyne, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-11 record this season.

Sanger has already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Richland on the 10th. As for Van Alstyne, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Celina on the 10th.
