Palmetto piles up the points against Ida Baker

On Friday, Palmetto humbled Ida Baker with a 42-7 victory. Given Palmetto's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 217th, while Ida Baker is ranked 532nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Palmetto's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jamari Parker, who rushed for 50 yards and a touchdown. Parker was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 50 yards. Another big playmaker for Palmetto was Dylan Wester, who returned a punt for a touchdown.
Palmetto now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Ida Baker, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
Palmetto will head out on the road to face off against Riverview Sarasota at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Dj Johnson and Davaughn Thomas. Ida Baker does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
