Softball Recap: Seven Rivers Christian Takes a Loss

Seven Rivers Christian fell victim to Carrollwood Day and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 15-0 to the Patriots. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Warriors' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Seven Rivers Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madalyn Luider, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Seven Rivers Christian's defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Carrollwood Day, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-5.

Coming up, Seven Rivers Christian will challenge Ocala Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors are facing the Crusaders at the right time seeing as the Crusaders are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Carrollwood Day, they will face off against Foundation Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
