After flying high against South Beloit on Saturday, Pecatonica came back down to earth. The Indians fell just short of the Galena Pirates by a score of 64-62 on Tuesday. The Indians' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Pecatonica's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Galena, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.

Coming up, Pecatonica will be taking part in a tournament against Eastland at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Galena will take on South Beloit in a holiday battle at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Pirates will be up against the Sobos' rather soft defense (which has allowed 62.33 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
