 Service put another one in the bag  on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Dimond Lynx with a sharp  7-1 win. The result was nothing new for Service, who have now won five matches by six  runs or more  so far this season.
  Landon Martindale made a splash while hitting and pitching. He  pitched 1.1 innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Martindale was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.
 Martindale wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Andrew Hickman, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was  Hunter Christian, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 Service's victory was  their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 8-0. As for Dimond,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 1-5.
 Service will head out on the road to  take on  South Anchorage at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. Service is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.4  runs per game  this season. As for Dimond, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Eagle River at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Dimond has given up an average of 7 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
