Basketball Game Preview: Twinsburg Tigers vs. Nordonia Knights

The Twinsburg Tigers will head out to take on the Nordonia Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Twinsburg is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.

Last Friday, Twinsburg strolled past Hudson with points to spare, taking the game 50-31. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 201st, while the Explorers are ranked 461st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Nordonia posted their closest win since February 9, 2024 on Tuesday. They skirted past Archbishop Hoban 43-41. The 43-point effort marked Nordonia's lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Twinsburg's record now sits at 11-8. As for Nordonia, their record is now 11-9.

Twinsburg was able to grind out a solid victory over Nordonia in their previous meeting back in January, winning 53-44. The rematch might be a little tougher for Twinsburg since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
