Softball Recap: Diamond Hill-Jarvis Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Wednesday. Diamond Hill-Jarvis came up short against Carter-Riverside, falling 13-7. Diamond Hill-Jarvis hasn't had much luck with Carter-Riverside recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Miriam Franco was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season. Kassandra Moreno was another key player, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-4.

Diamond Hill-Jarvis' defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Carter-Riverside, their win bumped their record up to 2-5.

Diamond Hill-Jarvis didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 19-9 loss against Dunbar on the 7th. Carter-Riverside has also already played their next matchup (against Southwest), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
