It was a good run, but Adullam House Christian Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They had to suffer through a rough 71-39 loss at the hands of Glen Iris Baptist. Adullam House Christian Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-20.
Despite the loss, Adullam House Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Shaun Taylor, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Thomas Buckelew, who scored nine points.
Adullam House Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-1. As for Glen Iris Baptist, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.
Adullam House Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on New Life Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024. After both having extra time off, Glen Iris Baptist and Chilton Christian Academy will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024. Chilton Christian Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 274th, while Glen Iris Baptist is ranked 127th).
