            Basketball Recap: Stargate School Eagles vs. Peak to Peak Pumas        
        
		
        
        
            Stargate School lost against Peak to Peak back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Tuesday. The Stargate School Eagles lost  71-48 to the Peak to Peak Pumas. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 149th in Colorado, while the Pumas are ranked 22nd in Colorado).

When it comes to explaining why Stargate School lost, don't look at  Hunter Roark. Despite the final result, he  posted 17 points and five  steals. The  matchup was  Roark's fifth in a row with at least 17  points.  Aldo Enriquez was another key player,  putting up seven  points and seven  rebounds.
 Even though they lost, Stargate School  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 13  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least ten  offensive boards in three consecutive  contests.
  Tysen Burton continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Peak to Peak,  almost  dropping  a double-double with 19 points and nine  boards. Burton is also on a roll when it comes to  steals, as he's  now  grabbed two or more in each of the last ten games he's  played.  Ebadi Sulaiman also deserves some recognition as  he  posted his first  assist of the season.
Stargate School's defeat was  their fourth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 10-11. As for Peak to Peak,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 20-2.
 Stargate School has already played their next game,  an  81-61  loss against Prospect Ridge Academy on the 26th. As for Peak to Peak, they will square off against Elizabeth at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Elizabeth will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  win, something Peak to Peak surely won't give up without a fight.
