Softball Recap: Morgantown Comes Up Short

Morgantown fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Stevenson on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 5-2 to the Patriots.

Morgantown saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was GRACE ROBINSON, who went 1-for-4 with one triple. That triple marked the first that ROBINSON hit this season.

Morgantown's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Stevenson, their victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

Coming up, Morgantown will take on Chardon at 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday. As for Stevenson, they will head out to challenge Tunkhannock at 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday.
