Basketball Game Preview: Freedom Patriots vs. Northampton Konkrete Kids

The Freedom Patriots are taking a road trip to face off against the Northampton Konkrete Kids at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Freedom was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 42-41 to Liberty. The Patriots have struggled against the Hurricanes recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Northampton lost a heartbreaker to Bethlehem Catholic when they met back in January of 2022, and they left with a heavy heart again on Tuesday. Northampton took a 49-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bethlehem Catholic.

Northampton's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Freedom, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-6.

Freedom came up short against Northampton in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 47-35. Can Freedom avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
